Chris Chelios was born in Chicago, and wound-up spending 9 of his 26 NHL seasons with the Blackhawks. He was dealt to his hometown, from Montreal in 1990, with fellow Hall of Famer, Denis Savard going the other way. A four-year captain with the Blackhawks, he won 2 of his 3 career Norris Trophies in a Hawks sweater. Chelios became the latest Blackhawks great to have his number retired by the team. His #7 went up to the rafters at the United Center on February 25th, 2024.
