Entering the 2023 NHL draft lottery, the Blackhawks had an 11.5% chance to win the # 1 pick. Well, the ping pong balls fell their way and they landed right to select center Connor Bedard as the new face of the franchise. Bedard started fast winning the Calder Trophy in Year-1 and Bedard’s 128 points through 2 seasons are the 2nd most points by a teenager in Blackhawks history. Bedard looks like the face of a new era of Blackhawks Hockey.
