Connor Murphy has been a steady presence on the Blackhawks Blue Line over the last 8 seasons. Acquired in a trade from the then-Arizona Coyotes in 2017, Murphy has skated in 487 games in a Blackhawks sweater and has provided great leadership on and off the ice. Recently helping a lot of the Blackhawks defensive prospects with their transition to the NHL, he has donned the “A” on sweater as an alternate captain for the Blackhawks the past 5 seasons.
