Dave Manson was a Blackhawks defenseman for parts of 7 seasons. He had career highs with 18 goals and 36 assists in 1988. Manson, was also known as an enforcer, and that was on display in one of the more famous games in Hawks history, “The St Patrick’s Day Massacre” in 1991 against the Blues at the Stadium. The teams combined for 278 penalty minutes. There were a series of brawls including Manson facing off with Scott Stevens at center ice as one of the main events.
