Stan Mikita played 22 years in the National Hockey League – nearly 1,400 regular season games, and every one of those games as a Blackhawk. The native of what is now Slovakia, Miktia played parts of 4 decades for the Hawks, from 1958 to 1980, and won the Stanley Cup in 1961. Mikita remains the Hawks all-time leader in games played, points and assists. The Hawks retired his number 21. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983. Mikita passed away in 2018.
