Blackout

In this episode we look at 6 different continents and the way they celebrate Christmas. As we all know Christmas is a time of Joy and peace but we all have different traditions and it is important to acknowledge and celebrate our difference. The topics covered today include, Santa, Gifts and Music but most importantly; the true meaning of Christmas. 

In this episode, a new member of the team is introduced as well as discussing all that was done throughout Black History Month here at Immaculata. While achievements were celebrated, they also discuss the importance of acknowledging and celebrating black excellence as a year-long thing rather than stopping at the end of a single month.

In this special episode, Blackout is joined by members of SAFE-D to talk a little bit about who they are, what they do, the story behind pink shirt day, and a bit about their own personal experiences as members of the LGBTQ2+ commuity.
