What if your problem isn't that you need to try harder — but that you're running on the wrong power source? From Luke 24, we explore the Holy Spirit's role in empowering followers of Jesus to actually live and testify the way He called us to.
After the resurrection, the disciples are understandably struggling, because they haven't yet seen the risen Jesus. In this message, we look at how Jesus reveals Himself to them and begins to reshape their understanding of what has happened and what is to come!
The grave wasn’t the end—it was just the setup. This Resurrection Sunday message traces the story from the cross to the empty tomb, showing how Jesus’ death and resurrection accomplish forgiveness of sin, defeat death, and make new life possible.
As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds celebrated Him as King—but within days, many would scatter in fear as He went to the cross. So what happened to their faith? And maybe more importantly, what does real faith actually look like? In this message, we step back into Jesus’ teachings and discover that true faith holds on, lets go, and remains steady—even in seasons of uncertainty.
In Luke 15, Jesus shows us the heart of God—a God who seeks, values, and redeems what is lost. But redemption isn’t the finish line; it’s the beginning of a transformed life. In this message, we try to unpack a little bit of what it means to live the redeemed way of Jesus!
While the ways of the world have become our normal way of seeing life, Jesus offers a radically different perspective. His way often turns everything we think we know upside down. In this message, we explore several of Jesus’ teachings and encounters that reveal what life in His way truly looks like.
While salvation in Christ is completely free, following Him comes with a cost. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and follow wherever He leads—even if that path leads to suffering or death. In this message, we wrestle with the reality of that cost and the greater reward that comes with it.
In life, we can find ourselves afflicted by darkness, disease, and death. Often, when these things hit us, we respond in fear, panic, and doubt. But what we find in Luke 8 is how we should actually respond: trusting in the power of Jesus! In this message, we look at several examples of Jesus' great power over all of the things in this world that trouble us. His Way is a way of power, not fear. Trust in Him!
Many of us know Jesus as our Savior and as a good teacher, but do we understand His authority as Lord? The early witnesses of Jesus' ministry had the same struggle. In Luke 6, we see Jesus assert His divine authority and then call His followers to submit to Him as Lord. And when we submit to Him as Lord, we find that our lives in Him are much stronger for it.
When Jesus shows up in the New Testament, the Jews had their expectations of what He would be like. When they realized that He was unlike what they expected, it caused problems for their acceptance of Him. In this message, we challenge our own expectations of Jesus and look at who Scripture tells us He is. Our hope is that we will let go of who we want Jesus to be, how we want Him to function, and simply follow who He has revealed Himself to actually be.
