The blame the victim fallacy has become normalized in society. Go on social media, find a horror story involving the murder or rape of girls and women, go in the comments and you will see how the victim is always blamed. Regardless of her age, socioeconomic status, size, race, sexual orientation or if she is differently abled - she will be held accountable for demise. The narrative is "she should have chose better" not men need to do better.
