Years ago, David Platt taught and ministered among underground Asian house churches where believers were forced to gather in secret, sometimes at the risk of their own lives due to hostility from the government, from the surrounding community, and even from their own families. Secret Church is an opportunity for us to gather and intensely study the Bible and pray like and for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.

Radical’s Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that happens annually.

Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for nearly 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted.

1. ‎The Question: How can I be saved?

Why is it the most important question?

*Apart from Christ, you are lost.

*You are a breath away from eternity.

*You will one day stand before Jesus Christ as Judge.

2. The Answer: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved!

*Salvation depends on Almighty God.

*Salvation is a matter of believing, not of works.

*Salvation comes through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

*Salvation leads to a changed life.

1. ‎Salvation is for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.

2. God saves, but believers must proclaim.

3. Respect, but expect.

4. Respond in faith or reject the truth.

1. We will not always agree on every point.

2. Our disagreements will sometimes be very sharp.

3. Separation is sometimes the answer.

4. The Gospel is sometimes advanced through disagreements.

5. Separate from one another with respect, not bitterness.

6. Reconciliation and restoration of friendship is the goal.

7. Hold on to your convictions but do it graciously.

1. The Dispute: Is salvation by grace alone or by grace plus works? (vv. 1-2)

2. The Decision: Saved by Grace alone. (vv. 2-18)

3. The Agreement: Saved by Grace but live in unity. (vv. 19-21)

4. The Result: The Church is strengthened, encouraged, and emboldened. (vv. 22-35)
