She is the assistant communications director for Libertarian Party of Washington State and also serves as Region 3 alternate. She also is on the board of Libertarian Party of Kitsap County and was awarded the 2018 Porcupine Award for LPWA.   As a child, Raylene dreamed of being in broadcasting.  When Johnny asked her to be the co-host for his new show, Blast Off! About The Record: “American Soul” the song, was inspired by a Jeff Deist Facebook post awhile back. Deist ripped Bono of U2 for some ridiculous things he said about Americans and politics in a Rolling Stone interview. There’s back-story for the song, with references, here: https://iamzamarripa.com/music/. ß- This page on my site has backstories for all of the songs. “American Soul” the song is the 6th song on the album.
