The Twins and Astros split the first two games, but it was all Houston in Game 3 when it launched 20 hits, the most against Minnesota this season. Dan is joined by Alex, a long-time friend and baseball fan, who fills in for the vacationing David. Dan and Alex discuss the changes to the Twins' starting rotation and whether this is actually the end of the Shoemaker experiment. Alex gets a chance to criticize the now retired Joe Mauer, something Alex did plenty during Mauer's playing days. They both wonder when Nelson Cruz will be traded, though perhaps there is some hope that the Twins will return to their winning ways with the returns of Byron Buxton and Luis Arraez during this week's road trip.
