The Minnesota Twins went to Yankee Stadium and did something entirely expected in losing a series, two games to one. What was not so expected (but maybe should have been) was the news that the Pohlad family is no longer intending to sell the team. David and Dan react to that news as they also look at what the trade deadline deals have done to the Twins decidedly younger roster. David weighs whether he should give up his season tickets. The new-look Twins feature a youthful energy that has David and Dan excited even though the games at this point are unlikely to lead to a postseason berth. The guys are both falling hard for Luke Keaschall and believe he could be a centerpiece of this team moving forward. The Minnesota Twins take 2 of 3 from the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. David returns from his board game vacation and finally gets the opportunity to give his thoughts about the trade deadline. Andrew "Hoges" Hoganson fills in for Dan and  the guys discuss Luke Keaschall and try to determine if he's really this good, or if it's just a fluky small sample size. David goes into detail regarding the Correa trade, and he and Hoges find themselves on different sides of the argument. In the aftermath of a crazy trade deadline, Dan and Hoges discuss the Minnesota Twins' series loss to the Cleveland Guardians. Hoges dwells on the positive of winning a one-run game in Cleveland for the first time in forever, while Dan is still feeling betrayed by Carlos Correa. It's happened: The Minnesota Twins have become sellers at the MLB trade deadline. Dan and Hoges discuss the move to trade Jhoan Duran to the Philadelphia Phillies, as well as the team's dispiriting series loss to the Boston Red Sox. Dan is upset over Carlos Correa's alleged willingness to go back to the Astros, while Hoges is upset at how Rocco Baldelli is managing his team as it shifts toward the last couple months of the season. Coming out of the All-Star Break, the Minnesota Twins give Colorado Rockies fans something of a surprise: a series victory for the Coors Field faithful. It's a disappointing series for the Twins, who fall three games under .500 and waste a chance to do better following what was an exciting pair of performances by Byron Buxton and Joe Ryan in Atlanta earlier in the week. David wonders whether Ryan has reached legitimate ace status, while Dan is eager to see the Twins shake up the roster by releasing one player and demoting another.
