“Humanity needs forgiveness,” Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel says, two years after a young Islamic radicals knife should have killed him. Like Erika Kirk, he shocked the world by publicly forgiving his attacker. Glenn wants to know why — and what forgiveness actually is. “Forgiveness is one thing. Justice is another,” the bishop says. Mercy is not permission. In the lingering shadow of 9/11 and the more recent shock of Charlie Kirk’s killing, Glenn asks how you rebuke evil in love when the culture calls that hate, and how to face Islam’s sweep of the West when voices insist every god is the same. Bishop Emmanuel says we are already past the middle of the end times, but is the church ready? Then he prays for America to turn back to Christ, prays for Donald Trump, and leaves the question hanging: When it costs you everything, is He still God?

Today we're joined by Dallas Jenkins, creator and writer/director/producer of "The Chosen," the first multi-season show on the life of Jesus. We talk about his career in filmmaking and how a career failure led to an important lesson that changed his life. He shares why he created the show and why it seems to resonate so deeply with people. Then, we discuss how much work truly goes into writing a show that uses the Bible as its source. The goal, for Dallas, is to ask, "What is biblically plausible?" as he gets insight from biblical, historical, and cultural scholars to craft the characters. We discuss criticism of the show, much of which has centered around skepticism about LDS involvement in the show's distribution. And ultimately Dallas reminds us that while "The Chosen" is based on the Bible and the life of Jesus and his disciples, it doesn't claim to be the Bible, as only the Bible itself is the true authority. You can watch the third season of "The Chosen" on the Chosen app.

The libs think they’ve finally cracked the case of the Texas trans mailers. If you recall, I got a letter in the mail from a transgender organization addressed to the students in my house. Prior to that, text messages linking to the Transgender Education Network of Texas website were also sent out. Court papers now claim that the Republican Women’s Caucus Fund was behind the texts, which it denies. Now the Left thinks it’s all over and that Republicans were behind the flyers ... but what they didn’t realize is they confused the issue and connected the two pieces before the investigation was even over. Even if it turns out this group did send the flyers, it’s irrelevant. It’s the same information TENT pushes and promotes so heavily. Former HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra (D) is running for governor of California, and when asked how he’s different from current Governor Gavin Newsom (D), he decided to show off his Spanish-speaking skills. Many Californians are realizing that his campaign is mostly focused on his identity rather than his policies. He’s trying to paint himself as an immigrant when it’s actually his opponent Steve Hilton (R) who is the real immigrant. There’s a ridiculous new trend going around where people pretend to steal money from someone via Apple Pay. A punk kid tried this on a Red Baron worker after a hard day and posted it to humiliate him. The internet is often sick, but on rare occasions it can be a good place. Random people started a GoFundMe for the worker to help him and his family, and it has been blowing up with donations since. The Left wants to act like we are the violent, oppressive ones, when in reality they are the ones who can’t control themselves. At the University of Utah, a Republican student was attacked by a transgender student and caught the whole incident on camera. The trans man was charged, but now people are trying to paint him as the victim.

During a recent TPUSA event, a college student mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk with a poem. The host seemed to have no answer except to reply with shock. Many conservatives seem to believe that exposing the bloodthirsty nature of the progressives will make the mass reject their ideology. In reality, young people see one side able to say and do whatever it wants while the other sits helplessly. If conservatives don't shift their mentality, Charlie Kirk's death will only be the beginning.
