Firefighters are battling to stop a wildfire that erupted yesterday in Lake County, burning more than two dozen homes near Clearlake and prompting evacuations. 

Over ten thousand people are forced from their homes and thousands more without power due to an out of control wildfire burning near a popular Tahoe Ski Resort.

An investigation is underway into an officer involved shooting late last night in San Jose.
