One of the great things about USG is that there is a significant number of first-generation students here blazing their way through school, and so we wanted to highlight some of them! Our guests were Francheska Pineda-Alvarez, a Psychology major at UMBC, Meredith Cordero, a Biological Sciences major at UMD, and Gisell Gonzalez, a Social Work major and Psychology minor at UMBC.
