As winter break comes to a close, the USG campus finds itself in all too familiar territory: virtual learning. Join hosts Sisi and Jules as they dive into what it means to go back to zoom classes after spending last semester in person, USG's covid-19 guidelines, and so much more. 

We got the opportunity to talk to Dr. Jonathan Kandell, the Director of the USG Center for Counseling and Consultation. In our discussion we talked about the importance of mental health, his path of becoming a leader in therapy, and some simple solutions to challenges concerning the holidays. Dr. Kandell was able to provide tremendous insight into the ins and outs of therapy and why he believes therapy should be a tool in every student's toolbox.

To learn about the importance of Hispanic Heritage Month, we reached out to Jose Grandos, VP of the UMD Latinx Alumni Network to ask him about his Hispanic heritage and what we can all learn from it.
