Pastor Brent Lokker and Prophet Bill Hernandez recall us to a healthy attitude towards God's promises and words that have been spoken over us. A special service focussed on the meaning of Christmas hosted jointly by Blazing Fire, Psalm 84 and East Bay Prayer Furnace. Included are three short messages on Christmas themes, namely "The Miracle of Emmanuel" by Linda McCallum, "The Name of Jesus" by Dan and Amy Knight and "Jesus as the Light and Bringer of God’s Justice" by Brent and Suzanne Lokker.

Kara Holthe shares her joy in the simplicity and beauty of God's plan of salvation, as she recounts several stories from the book of Acts and her own life. The simple gospel is just as relevant and powerful today as it was 2000 years ago; his faithfulness continues through all generations (Ps 100:5).  To see the slides for this talk, click here.

Shandy Pekkonen shares his journey of encountering the supernatural realm from a his early childhood onwards, and reminds us the point is not fascination with the supernatural per se, but the power of God to change lives in the communities where we live.

Tiffany James, author, spoken word artist and our guest speaker for the evening helps us to move beyond our mental barriers of comparison and self-disqualification. May her words encourage us to live boldly inspired by a heavenly perspective of who we are in the Kingdom.  (Music under her spoken word segment by Nathaniel Coe III, see https://www.natecoemusic.com.)

Pastor Brent Lokker reviews what we've learned from the book of Acts, and helps us focus on the centrality  of the Holy Spirit in any advance of the Kingdom. The secret is always to yield to Him, so that His dynamic life and power is allowed gain victory both in us and through us.  To see the slides, click here.

Our guest speaker this week, Dennis Lafayette, shares some of the amazing things that happen when we are willing to take the risk of faith-action in the service of whatever God is asking us to do in the moment. God supplies everything we need, even the faith — we simply get to supply the "yes" and step out to see God work through us in amazing ways.

Pastors Brent and Suzanne share from Acts 12 about Peter's miraculous escape from prison, and how even those who had gathered in prayer were unprepared for the completeness of God's answer to their prayers. For those among us who may be feeling jaded or disappointed about things we prayed for that didn't come to pass as we expected, we are encouraged to repent of any offense that we still carry against God for not having moved in our preferred way or timing, and get ready to be willing and courageous participants in God's current move.
