In this episode of Blerdkast I sit with JB Smith of JB VS the World, Myron Abernathy of Smoove Cosplaya and Michael Collins of Fandom Hybrid Podcast as we discuss the legacy and career of Matt Ryan a.k.a. Matty Ice formally of the Atlanta falcons. As mentioned in a previous episode of Blerdkast I stated that geeks can like and geek out to sports as much as we can any other form of entertainment we consume. Since we all are devoted Falcons fans we felt obliged to dedicate a full episode to talk about what Matt Ryan meant to the city and fans, and we clear the air of some of the controversy surrounding some of his biggest flops and failures as QB in Atlanta. We also get into other NFL news and talk a bit about the future of Matt Ryan, The NFC South and the NFL in the upcoming season.

In this episode I sit down with Shy U from Blerdover and we have a very deep conversation about being black and blerd in America today. With it being Black History Month I wanted to explore some of the best of what pop culture has to odder in regards to Black characters and Black culture, but it kinda got away from me and we talk a lot about being black in America and how our history in this country has gone. We do talk about geeky things like Black Panther and we give our top 10’s. there is a lot that’s said in this episode that reflects how we personally feel about current events within our communities.
