In today’s episode the blerds get their exclusives on by bookending the episode with our brief thoughts on 2 movies we’ve been able to see early. bigT gets into his thoughts on Yardie. Ace continues watching The Purge series with its sequel, Anarchy, and gets excited about Veronica Mars’ return. We get into the latest trailers and teasers to drop, continue to speculate about the Avengers 4 title, discuss the sinister 6 in the MCU, get back into some Guardians of the Galaxy talk, and race/gender swap some iconic comic book characters. Our main event for today is a review of Christopher Robin, in which bigT explains his elaborate theory. And we end the episode with our brief thoughts on Searching. A movie that takes place entirely on a desktop screen... like most of our lives.

Audio of the Q&A with director Spike Lee after an exclusive screening of BlacKkKlansman. We get to hear about his influences, motivations, and stylistic choices behind the making of the movie. There’s a few questions from Twitter and a couple questions from the audience, well really just one question and one incredibly cringe worthy moment. Enjoy

The theme of today’s episode is race; so we get a little political as we review Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, get into a deep discussion about its subject matter, and also discuss Idris Alba and the pros and cons of a black Bond.

Sadly, there have been more deaths since our last recording, we cover gaming news including Bruce Campbells Evil Dead game, Tom Holland’s Uncharted movie, and some ideas on the mythical Avengers game. HBO officially confirm The Watchmen tv show, Tom Cruise might be Green Lantern again, Weird Al Yankovic makes the Hollywood walk of fame seem a little more like the yellow brick road, Disney finally close the book on the James Gunn situation, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on set in Europe, and we give our spoiler review of The Equaliser 2.

We also manage to review The Meg, without once saying “shut up Meg!” And The Darkest Minds, without getting too controversial, hopefully.

This week, after finally being released in the UK, we get into Antman and the Wasp after everyone else. However, after an early screening, we also give an early non spoiler reaction to The Equaliser 2. Ace also gives a little review of Teen Titans GO To The Movies, as bigT can’t wake up early enough for the family screenings. We cover all the latest pop culture news including Andy Serkis Netflix movies, Marvel continues to break records, more empty promises from DC, we lose half the chuckle brothers, and we just can’t let this James Gunn thing go.

this is a long one but a fun one finish up on trailers and talk some incredibles

In today’s episode we pick up where we left off and continue our SDCC 2018 coverage. As we covered mostly news last episode, we mainly review the trailers this time round.

Trailers include:

- Godzilla 2: King of Monsters

- Aquaman

- Shazam

- Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald

- Titans

- Flash

- a bunch more DC shows

- some Netflix shows

- and much more...

In Today’s episode the blerds are surprised to still be going as we get into all the controversies to happen in the pop culture community recently. We begin our coverage of SDCC 2018, with so much news to cover today we will review the trailers in our next episode. As Disney did not attend this year the chance to win the crown was wide open, so we see what Warner Bros, Sony, and everyone else had to offer.
