Counting your blessings is a simple way to express gratitude, though it isn't always easy.  Finding the silver lining might be difficult when things are hectic or stressful. Still, learning to be grateful can improve your happiness immensely.

As you go about your chores, studies, business today, may that light shine brightly on you. May the fruits of your labor bring you joy. 

Each new day offers the chance for a new strength and drive to meet the difficulties that lie ahead. Whatever occurs today, have faith in your ability to overcome it. Victory starts in the mind, and in Jesus' name, it is yours. Dear friend, good morning.

May we allow ourselves to be comforted by the awareness that we are constantly accompanied by God's love. Nothing happens without His permission and awareness.

Every day, there are minor disruptions in the plans we make or minor niggles here and there. Every day, we have the option of letting challenges overwhelm us, or resting in the certainty that God is tenderly guiding us.  The thought that obstacles were ordained as minor hurdles to encourage us to look towards and rely on Him. As an example, we can whine about the inconvenient traffic jam that prevents us from getting there.

In this example, we can remain aware that God is aware of our deadline and use the opportunity to pray or choose to grumble and fret and be stressed.

Please remind me of how much of a difference it makes when I make time with you first thing in the morning. 

As I prepare to go about my day, awaken me in body and spirit with a longing to meet with you and hear you speak words of affirmation, certainty, and knowledge over my heart.

As I start a new day, I'd want to beg for your assistance, Lord. I'd like to be mindful of your influence on my decisions, talks, and work. In my interactions with the individuals I encounter today—friends and strangers alike—I want to be more like you, Jesus.
