Today we decided to talk about the culture around emergency preparedness in the church. Although the conversation usually revolves around 72 hour kits, generators and food storage, we start by talking about being spiritually prepared and how that should be the most important form of preparedness. 2021 was an amazing year for us. After 8 months of doing the podcast we reflect on the things we accomplished and what we're looking forward to in 2022. We agree the show has not turned out to be what we expected, but it's a lot more fun and fulfilling than we ever thought. This week we move forgiveness from a possible topic to an actual topic. We are commanded to forgive as part of our discipleship even when that is uncomfortable or painful. One reason we need to forgive is because we are not qualified to selectively forgive others. Christ is the ultimate and just judge. We come closer to, and more like God as we forgive others.
