If you were in court accused of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? The parable of the talents (or the parable of the three servants) shows us that we will be rewarded on the judgment day if we are faithful. Yet, since we are naturally sinful, how can we be rewarded on that day? The answer is that through faith in Jesus, his followers can be faithful producing the fruit of the Spirit, which will be the evidence for vindication (not the cause, which is justification by faith alone in Christ alone) on that day.
