God sees something more pure and loving than what we can see by ourselves alone.

God helps us see the goodness that has always been present, everywhere, and in everyone.

It is this kind of love, past our shortcomings and judgments that allows us to transcend far beyond these things, living out a purity of heart for a better life and a better world.

The spiritual life is to see within us, and all around us, the goodness God has seen all along.
