As Joey concludes our series in the Beatitudes, Jesus ends in a rather anti-climactic and seemingly disappointing manner. What does is mean for followers of Jesus to be blessed in their persecution?

When we dig into the teachings of Jesus and the rest of scripture, we see that Jesus is reminding of us of three facets of our walk with him. He reminds us of the goal, tells us the hurdles, and introduces us to the team.
