In this episode we discuss the word righteousness as meaning justice.  There was two kinds of justice in the Bible: retributive and restorative. Jesus is never shown as avenging or using retributive justice. He didn’t do things to scare people into being good. He didn’t repay the evil done to him. His kind of justice was always restorative.
