Blessed Life Fellowship

Part 2 of 3.

In assessing the signs of the times, it looks as though we've never been closer to the return of Christ than we are right now.  How then would you evaluate your current preparation for His return?  Are you dressed and ready for service, keeping your lamp burning and your oil full?  Or have you let your oil get low and your lamp close to burning out?  The answer to that question has eternal implications.  Learn in this teaching how you can trim your lamps and prepare yourself for Christ's return.

Using Philippians 2 as a backdrop, Brent Denney uses the examples of both Christ and Paul the Apostle with regard to their selfless service and how their examples should inspire us to live in the same way, and how we can arrive at that same place in our hearts.

This teaching by Brent Denney is based on the Church of Sardis in the book of Revelation and provides a similar wake-up call to the Church in America.

The Bema Seat Judgment of Christ is a time and place where believers in Jesus will have their work for God's Kingdom in this life evaluated.  It's not a place of judging us for our sins, since those have already been dealt with on the cross.  Rather, it's a time when our work is examined and rewards will be given accordingly.  This is a crucial doctrine to master, because once you begin to have the revelation about how everything we do here in this life is either building up treasures in heaven or subtracting from our reward, then you'll be very purposeful in how you live.  And this is why the doctrine of eternal judgment is one of the foundational doctrines of the faith.

The doctrine of eternal judgment is vital to understand for the Christ follower, because if you truly understand what the Bible says about this it will absolutely affect that way you live.  And for the Christian, eternal judgment is GOOD NEWS!  Find out in this teaching why we have reason to rejoice in eternal judgment, how to prepare for it, and why what you do TODAY is so important.

The resurrection of the dead is a fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith.  In fact, it's so foundational that the scriptures tell us without the resurrection our faith is in vain.  And we likewise need to understand the three distinct resurrections that different people will be raised in.  This teaching will help us master a better understanding of this cornerstone doctrine.

DID YOU KNOW YOUR HANDS ARE INSTRUMENTS OF GOD'S SUPERNATURAL POWER?!  The doctrine of the laying on of hands is one of the fundamental principles in the Bible, but almost totally neglected when it comes to teaching about it from the pulpits of today's churches.  Yet this is how supernatural power, authority, blessing, deliverance and healing was and is transferred.  Learn in this teaching how God wants to use you to transfer His power into the lives of others.  And by the way, there were several healings in this service after this sermon was delivered.  God confirmed His Word with signs following!!!

Most people know about water baptism, but did you know there are not one, but THREE different baptisms discussed in the Scriptures that are available to every believer?  And each baptism has a special place and purpose in the life of the believer.  Discover in this teaching what each of those baptisms are and how they benefit the Christ follower.
