In the Kingdom of God there is always something to learn and opportunities for growth in the "valley of the shadow death."  So God is asking us to stay faithful and constant even when we would rather recoil from uncomfortable situations and bail out.  This teaching focuses on the reasons why James 1:2-4 says to rejoice in trial.  Ultimately, God is is trying to make overcomers out of us, and we cannot be overcomers unless there is something to overcome!  You were made to walk through the various valleys in your life and come out on the other side victorious!

God never promised that we wouldn't go through difficult times, just that He would walk with us through them, guide us, and comfort us.  Times of testing are a part of every Christian's experience and provide an outcome of strength and endurance if we are open to the whispers of the Holy Spirit.  This timeless teaching is offered by BLF's own Tom Passo, with a special testimony by worship leader, Matt Cooley.

Psalm 23:4 says that God leads us in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.  This teaching explains how God leads His people and why, and features some additional thoughts by Sarah Kittle.

Psalm 23:3 says that our Good Shepherd restores the soul.  This teaching features the testimony of Heidi Cooley and examines the various ways that God restores the soul for those who turn to Him.

The Good Shepherd seeks to restore our souls back to the original condition.  He has done this by His finished work of redemption on the cross, but His work of restoring our souls didn't stop with salvation of our souls alone.  It continues with a restorative process of remaking us into the people He had in mind for us to be from the beginning.  This teaching features the testimony of one of Blessed Life Fellowship's leaders, Pam Hull, author of The Stink Ditch, and who is a minister of the gospel to troubled young women.

Jesus is known as the Good Shepherd, the one who restores our souls.  And He beckons us to come out of the pig pen people are living in and join Him in green meadows and beside still waters.  Many people do not realize until it's too late that the way they are living IS actually a pig sty, a place of physical and spiritual destruction designed by a despicable pied piper to lead people into ruin.  This teaching examines the real-life consequences of deviating from God's commands, which are designed to bring us life, and that more abundantly.  Scientific research on the emotional, physical, and social consequences of several moral issues prove the life-giving principles of Scripture and the ruinous consequences of violating it.

The Good Shepherd is described as having come to give us life, and that more abundantly (John 10:10).  God's intentions toward his children are good, and good only.  But we have to get a revelation about that fact in order to experience His goodness on any wide scale, because everything in the Kingdom is accessed by faith.  This teaching focuses on more reasons why God's people don't experience the abundance that the Good Shepherd intends for His sheep.
