  • I feel like a fraud

    I can give everyone advice and lift up others, but when it comes to taking my own advice I struggle. I have really been struggling lately with patience while being in this season of waiting, and I feel like a total fraud. I feel like a fraud because I am struggling, but I'm not a fraud, im just a sinful human....and that's ok. The Lord has a plan for me and my family, and it will all happen in HIS timing, until then I am learning a lot of lessons.

    Being patient and waiting on anything today is very difficult. Especially in the world we live in, most services and apps are used to get quicker results or get our orders faster. Being in a season of waiting currently has reminded me that it’s in the period of waiting when God is working and shaping us.   • Kate Merrick - Staying Present
    On this episode I talked to wife, mother and author Kate Merrick! Kate is the author of two books that have helped me tremendously, the 1st book And Still She Laughs released in 2017, and 2nd book Here, Now released in 2019. She is the cofounder of the Reality family of churches along with her husband, Britt. She recently started a business called Mijas Del Mar meaning: “Daughters of the sea.” You won’t find Kate on Instagram, but you can check out her awesome pieces on the Mijas Del Mar Instagram!
    If I'm being honest I really wanted to cut a lot of this episode out. When editing it I felt like I talked and shared way too much. I got very self conscious, but ultimately I decided that this is why I started the podcast, to be real, raw and relatable. So I left it all in. Please be kind, I do giggle a lot, and at the end of the podcast my son woke up and I held him in my arms while finishing the episode. You will hear not only him, but some background noise. I apologize, but that is real life.
