In the final episode of season one, I share a Blessedtimony on my “Birthday Scripture”, Colossians 3:23! “What is a Birthday Scripture?” you ask, well my Birthday is March 23rd or 3/23. I like to search scriptures that with the chapter 3 and verse 23 just as a fun way to see what they say.
In this episode I go into how Colossian 3:23 has manifested in my entire life, but it wasn’t until I gave my life to Christ before it had a true meaning to me. You’ll have to listen to the show for an explanation of the verse, my Blessedtimony, and a sneak peak of what to expect from season two.

A lot of times Christians can get caught up on what is and is not a sin. However, James 4:17 reminds us that if we know what is good, and do not do it, then we have sinned. This episode I catch up with a good friend from High School, Marilys E. Rogers! This is my girl, and she recently posted on social media her frustration from a young Black woman who was murdered by a Black Male.
She questioned why do we harm each other and worse why don’t people step up and stop violence towards women when we witness it. This is a must hear episode, I speak on a time where I failed to do the right thing and then provide tips on what we can do to prevent domestic violence when it occurs. If you know the right thing to do, and don’t do it, you have sinned, so please do the right thing.

This episode I really had a good time just talking with a fellow Brother in Christ (EJ Brown). We spoke on marriage, abstinence, discipleship, protest, prosperity gospel, and so much more. Sometimes it hard to lean on the promises of God but He is not a liar and will stay true to His Word. So, continue to praise and worship the Lord at ALL Times. This episode, I am Talking with Tanya! She is a very motivational women and have no problem telling you like it is. From subjects like “stop making excuses and getting to your purpose” to “living your life for Christ if you say you are a Christian.” If you have goals, dreams, and a God giving purpose I highly encourage you to listen to Tanya’s testimony and also follow her on Facebook to get that extra drive to do what you have been called to do for Christ.
We take a dive into two scriptures Colossians 3:1-2 and Ephesians 3:20 (Tanya’s favorite scripture by the way), and see how God is able to do all but he also has empowered you to do all He has called you to do. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. The Great Commission! Jesus instructed us to go into the world and teach and baptize. This is the core of discipleship, which is all about teaching others about Christ so they can go and do the same! This is how the world will have the opportunity to hear the good news and be saved from the righteous judgment we all deserve. Thankfully with technology we are able to reach corners of the world most of us will never travel.
However, my Guest, Cathrine Ligard takes the great commission to another level. Cathrine and her husband Vidar has a ministry called Safari Mission where they train leaders in Africa so they can in turn go and do the same for their people. Cathrine shares her Blessedtimony on the Great Commission and how it has blessed her and many others in East Africa.
