Join us this week as we continue our sermon series on Genesis with chapter 29 verse 31 through chapter 30 verse 24. Genesis 30 is the birth of a nation but you’d never guess it from the dysfunction in Jacob’s household. Through sibling rivalry, manipulation, envy, and desperation, God’s plan moves forward. God’s purposes are never stopped by human sin. From the cosmic expansion of Abraham’s promise to the gritty details of a broken family, this chapter shows us there’s no one too broken for God to use and that life apart from God always leaves us empty.

This chapter is messy, and yet full of hope.
