God is calling us to a deeper fellowship with Him in prayer. It is not just about asking for things.

The Lord is with us wherever we go. Let us be conscious of His presence and truly worship Him daily. When you focus on people, you will loose sight of Him.

Jesus received the news with joy but reminded them that it is more important to stay focused on the purpose and also rejoice that their names are recorded amongst those who enforce the kingdom of God on earth. Believers are encouraged to hold onto the word of truth, profess it continually with Jesus at the centre. If you are rejected or attacked for standing for truth, do not take it personally. It is Jesus, the one who sent you that is being attacked. That will help you manage your emotions and you can love the attackers while praying for them.
