Safety is of the Lord. Here we are reminded that God is with us through the storms of life. He will carry us safely through every storm from one season to another. Hold on.

Today, we are encouraged to grow spiritually. Make investments to your spirit man by the Word, prayer and association with fervent believers. You have an identity in the Spirit realm. Association with Jesus Christ is not by assumption. Grow in it deliberately.

The church began praying earnestly after Peter was imprisoned. What a stressful time it must have been. Here we are stirred up to engage in prayer, press on , make out time to do so earnestly, frequently and watch out for open doors, supernatural experiences. God is ready to make things happen. When things are going well, we often relax and may be weak in the place of prayer. This is a wake up call to prayer at all times and of all kinds. The resistance the adversary often brings our way is to hinder the spread of the Word of God. Do not be surprised, recognise it and take action. God bless you.

The apostles clearly stated that they will not neglect the Word and prayer to attend to tables. We are reminded of the need to prioritise building our spiritual life so we can withstand the challenges of life by the Spirit.

Every one makes decisions daily. We all need guidance to get it right. God's counsel is available to us. It comes in different ways. Do you recognise it? Be a man of understanding. God bless you.

Burdened with a load of care? We are encouraged to cast them all to Jesus. He never gets tired of helping us like men do. Hand your worries over. He cares for you.

We are living stones created for God's glory. People may have rejected us and called you unworthy. We have a choice to accept it or reject what has been spoken. Jesus was rejected but still became the chief cornerstone leaving us an example to follow. You can become all God wants you to be. Arise and shine.

The Name of the Lord is a defence. It is a place of rest for those who will come to God in prayer. Are you weary? Seeking rest for your soul? This is a call to rest. We haver an assurance of safety in His name. Let us practice coming into His presence in prayer and truly live a life of refreshing rest as God does His works through us.
