In this episode I sat down with Rachel, my younger sister, who happened to be in the middle of college when the pandemic struck and was forced to doing school totally online. While we know overall this caused a falling behind for a lot of students, for those like my sister, who learn in a physical setting it made school nearly impossible. She had to study roughly 40 hours a week just to barely pass. Through this time she found immense growth and realized that she is tougher and can take heat than she previously thought.

Welcome to Blessings from Tragedy! 

Previously this was nothing more than a series within my main podcast, the rambling viking, but now it is a stand-alone show where we bring people on to detail the blessings that can come out of the tragedies in their lives. So be prepared to laugh, cry, and everything in between as we have some heavy episodes that ultimately have a silver lining. We all experience tragedy in our lives but too often we never talk about them and miss an opportunity to flesh out tremendous blessings that can come from the hardest times.
