For three nights, Olga had nothing to feed her children. Desperate for help, the Honduran mother found out about Operation Blessing, who helped her set up a small business making and selling food. Today Olga’s business is doing well and her children no longer go to bed hungry.

After spending their life savings on medical bills, a family from the West Bank was struggling to survive. Operation Blessing gave the family a small herd of sheep, which are now helping to sustain the family with nutrition and a source of income.

For more than 60 years, Don Julio has never had a clean source of water to drink – and with every sip he and his family took, they were at risk of becoming very sick. Operation Blessing came to his community and dug a new well providing them with clean water for the first time.

Abandoned by her husband, Elizabeth’s only option was to live with her children in a makeshift house with a plastic tarp. When Operation Blessing heard about their struggle, they built them a new house and trained Elizabeth in sewing so she could better provide for her family.

Lakay ZB Resto Plus is the latest project at the Operation Blessing-supported Zanmi Beni Children’s Home in Haiti. The profits from the new venture are used to help support the more than 60 orphaned and abandoned children through aquaculture projects that provide a source of nutritious fish for the children. Haiti's hope for the future starts young.  For the children in Medan Belize, education is key to developing and improving their village, but there wasn't a school nearby.  Because they are some of the poorest children in Haiti, they were left without access to education.  So Operation Blessing built a school in the village that allows over 60 children to receive a good education. The Hunger Strike Force is Operation Blessing’s largest domestic program in the U.S. Their large fleet of tractor-trailer trucks delivers millions of pounds of food and relief supplies weekly to a network of community-based partners, who in turn, distribute to local hunger relief organizations and food pantries across the country.
