As the Innocents starts to get a make-over, we revisit Betty Lou in the hospital...except someone is visiting her. Inspector Nards continues his relationship with Deborah Cleverpatch, the ghost that's inhabiting his girlfriend Daphne's body. Natasha and Jameson have returned from their excursion after leaving the Innocents at the end of Season 1, and they've brought back more secrets.
It's the season premiere of "Blinding Innocents!"
Welcome back to the Innocents, where everyone is dying to live! We return to the condominium close to where we left off from last season. Betty Lou is in the hospital. Henrick is visiting Danica in the hospital. And, if you remember the season finale, a new character was introduced -- Cashmina Rottingham -- and we begin to learn MORE about her.
Won't you please come back in and make yourselves comfortable for some old fashioned soap opera wackiness.
A thunderstorm has surrounded the Innocents, and there's no way anybody is leaving in THAT downpour, except for Danica...
There's an earthquake, but it's not really an earthquake. It's just Daphne-now-Deborah having a bit of a temper tantrum b/c no one can call her by the right name -- but now that the power is out, even more ridiculous things can happen.
As we get closer to the end of the season, we find Shadie Business visiting Danica and Henrick with a dire message. Inspector Nards pays Jonathon Nightingale a visit, as well, which might seem strange since Jonathon dislikes Nards so very much, and we end the episode with Natasha and Jameson visiting their wedding planner because something must be done with the wedding planning binder. There's just so much turmoil happening, by the end of the episode, it might seem like the Innocents complex could collapse.
Things are beginning to get dicey for the residents of the Innocents. Another character is kidnapped. Can you guess who it is? You probably can. And with all those green earrings scattered about, the list of suspects is puzzling both Nards and Viener. What's even more puzzling, however, is how Daphne has been acting, especially while being questioned.
The episode takes a suspenseful turn -- as you may have guessed -- when Nards and Viener's interrogation of Daphne (or who they THINK is Daphne) is interrupted by...you guessed it...ANOTHER MURDER.
A bird also poops on Natasha, but that's neither here nor there.
There's a lot going on at the Innocents these days. Inspector Nards stands outside of the building, contemplating about the unsolved murder and how it's so different. Jonathon Nightingale and Betty Lou Glick are sneaking about the halls in the dark, and believe me, they are up to no good. Daphne, the woman who Inspector Nard's loves so much, and who lives in a haunted unit, turned on a fan...and it doesn't end well.
And if you think that's a lot, just you wait -- Danica and Henrick go on a date to evaluate their relationship, and we find out the reality of Danica's conquest. And, if that's not enough, George the Doorman has even more drama to sort through.
Because, let's be honest, these are the days of their lives, but don't even think that one of them is innocent.
Tune in for drama and stay for the comedy.
Murder is afoot at the Innocents, but so is love. We step away from the horrors to find Danica pursuing her next conquest, which we possibly-maybe-sort of kind of know what it could be now. Daphne, Natasha and Jameson's wedding planner extraordinaire awaits a secret love to stop by...only to let the secret be known that her condo suite is haunted. And Jonathon Nightingale also gets a visit from someone we totally didn't see coming, but we also totally saw coming.
Death might be in the air at the Innocents, but so is love.
Things are moving a bit faster now. Inspector Nards and Ms. Viener are up on the 23rd floor along with the forensics team, gathering evidence (just don't pay attention to the officer working on his mime skills), but what's really important is that Jameson and Henrick are out looking for their loves Natasha and Danica -- is one of them a victim of the ghastly murder on the 23rd floor? And what is Jonathan Nightingale hiding? It's awfully strange he's so invested in a plastic container. What's he going to use that for?
