In this episode of BLK MILK, I reveal what the forbidden fruit really was: the hunger for a reality beyond what’s right in front of you in your immediate waking reality. The craving for elsewhere—different people, different places, different foods, different things—especially the ones marketed to you through word of mouth, through someone else’s mind, or mass media.
It’s not the fruit I’m here to demonize, which is what’s been done for generations with this story of the forbidden fruit. It’s the refusal to be here in the present moment and actually interface with what’s already in front of you. Because everything beyond that—everything promoted, romanticized, or sold to you—you can’t spiritually account for. Yes, it’s the refusal to fully metabolize the moment.
I also break down the mechanics of spiritual accounting: how fear and anxiety aren’t flaws, but intelligent alerts from the body. Signals that something within you still needs to be felt, released, or resolved. Not only are they tracking what hasn’t been processed—but if you don’t process it, you won’t be able to account for what ends up manifesting as a product of what’s still circulating through your subtle bodies.
If you’re feeling off, anxious, or like something’s missing, it might be time for a subtle body audit.
