El Hardwick is a London based musician, photographer, director, writer, curator and former NTS presenter. Identifying as non-binary, their work explores the relationships between our bodies and their surrounding environments, queer world making practices, and how we can heal on a damaged planet. These ideas are explored further in their recently released debut album 8 and book of photography & poetry — told through a sci-fi narrative at the intersection of climate crisis and digital justice.

El’s mix for TARadio on Block is centered around vocal-led compositions, and the spiritual qualities of the voice. It features tracks that have been healing for them in the last few months, and also some longtime favourites.
