She studied Architecture at the University of Strathclyde and she has worked in the industry for 14 years.

David has been in the industry since 1999 and he started his own company – Life Property Management in 2003. which was the fastest organically grown property management in the history of Scottish factoring. Now, David tells us, James Gibb is the fastest organic and manufactured growth company in Scotland. He joined the PMAS in 2012 and, today, is their Immediate Past President.

Welcome to another Blocktalk Podcast and the third episode in our Health and Wellbeing series. Last week we caught up with Malcolm Perryman, Commercial Manager at the Institute of Residential Property Managers about poor mental health in the property management industry. This week, we speak to someone who is able to help manage our mental health.

In this episode, we are joined by a qualified mental health First Aid Trainer to help you manage your mind in 2022. Gavin Percy, is a trainer and Managing Director of Balancing Edges.

Following some mental health issues close to him, Gavin decided to specialise in mental health first aid training to improve attitudes to mental health in the workplace. His training leads to improved morale, loyalty, productivity, and employee wellbeing.
