  • Watch 2025 Ultra Music Festival Sets From Skrillex, Zedd, Martin Garrix and More

And just like that, Ultra Music Festival is officially a quarter-century old.

Miami's Bayfront Park once again transformed into an electronic music paradise as Ultra celebrated its milestone 25th anniversary this past weekend. The iconic event, which has become the de facto kickoff to the US festival season for EDM enthusiasts, delivered a masterclass in production and programming.

Eye-popping LED displays illuminated the downtown skyline as attendees from over 100 countries converged to dance and watch performances from the world's top DJs. Veterans like Skrillex, Carl Cox, deadmau5 and Armin van Buuren shared billing with today's rising stars, reinforcing Ultra's commitment to both honoring its roots and shaping electronic music's future.

Between the Miami heat and the pyrotechnics, temperatures weren't the only things rising—so too were the hands of thousands as familiar anthems and fresh IDs echoed across Biscayne Bay. The festival's beloved Mainstage was a hub for dance music's biggest names while the underground-focused RESISTANCE Megastructure continued its tradition of serving breakneck techno to devoted fans who prefer their tempos high and their sweat glands depleted.

Continue on to watch Ultra 2025 sets by Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Zedd and many more. This article will be updated as more performances are uploaded.

  • Flash Flood Warning Issued for Miami as Ultra Music Festival Presses On

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a flash flood warning on Sunday afternoon for eastern Miami-Dade County, an area that includes Ultra, one of the world's premier EDM festivals.

At 3:57pm, Doppler radar detected thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the region. Between one and three inches of rain had already fallen, with another one to three inches expected. The weather service warned of possible flash flooding, with standing water already reported in parts of downtown Miami.

Ultra, held in Bayfront Park along Biscayne Bay, has continued after the festival's organizers temporarily paused it and released a statement urging attendees to "please seek shelter." They resumed the event shortly thereafter and have not announced any further delays or evacuations at the time of this article's publication.

Miami officials advised residents and visitors to avoid flooded streets and seek higher ground if necessary. The downpour comes as tens of thousands of festivalgoers descend on the city for Ultra's final day, featuring performances by some of the biggest names in electronic dance music, including Martin Garrix, deadmau5 and Zedd.

Last year's Ultra was also marred by bad weather. Authorities evacuated the festival on its first day after Miami received 2.34 inches of rain, a daily record for the city at the time.

The flash flood warning is set to remain in effect until 6pm. Ultra is scheduled to conclude at 10pm.

  • Watch David Guetta, Afrojack and Sia Perform "Titanium" Live for the First Time at Ultra 2025

Ultra has long been the epicenter of historic moments in EDM, but for the festival's 25th anniversary, its organizers pulled off something that had eluded the industry for over a decade: the first-ever live performance of "Titanium" by its original collaborators: David Guetta, Afrojack and Sia.

Since its 2011 release, "Titanium" has transcended mere chart-topping success to become a generational dance anthem, a four-billion-stream juggernaut permanently etched in the DNA of both pop and electronic music. But despite the track's ubiquity, the trio behind it had never performed it together—until now.

David Guetta, Afrojack and Sia performing "Titanium" live for the first time at Miami's Ultra Music Festival on March 28th, 2025.

Ultra's Mainstage, already a temple to defining moments in dance music, became the proving ground for this long-awaited spectacle. Afrojack hinted at a surprise by spinning Guetta's Akon-fueled club hit "Sexy Bitch" before the French icon took the stage moments later, reminiscing about discovering a young Afrojack and their storied history.

"If there's anyone to do this right now and to try to change the scene a little bit, it's us," Afrojack told EDM.com in an interview back in 2021.

Then Sia, swathed in custom Dolce & Gabbana and her signature wig, made her first-ever EDM festival appearance. Her unmistakable voice cut through the Miami night for a one-of-a-kind performance, proving that even in an age of hyper-accessible content, some moments still demand the magic of live music.

  • SoundCloud Launches Inaugural "Music Intelligence Report" to Spotlight Emergent Listening Trends

SoundCloud has published its first-ever "Music Intelligence Report," an annual snapshot of the platform's top artists, breakout tracks and the genre shifts shaping the sound of tomorrow.

Framed as a discovery-driven counterpoint to mainstream charts, the report underscores SoundCloud’s mission to spotlight emerging movements before they go global. According to the platform, 46.5% of all listening on SoundCloud in the past year was dedicated to music released in the last 18 months—nearly double the 26.7% industry average reported by Luminate.

The findings strengthen SoundCloud’s identity as a launchpad for emerging talent and evolving genres. Among the biggest takeaways: Electronic is now the fastest-growing genre in the United States. Based on listening trends, it ranks second in US-based popularity behind hip-hop and takes the top spot in the UK.

  • Chris Lake and Ragie Ban Reimagine 90s Classic for New House Banger, "Toxic"

Chris Lake has teamed up with rising Brazilian DJ and producer Ragie Ban to release "Toxic," a house heater with a new jack swing twist.

Out now via Lake's Black Book Records, "Toxic" arrives hotly anticipated. The track had become a fan-favorite, turning heads since the house music superstar first teased it in his recent DJ set at Costa Rica's Ocaso Music Festival.

At the core of "Toxic" lies a genius sample: Bell Biv DeVoe’s 1990 classic "Poison," which the producers reimagine with a snarling bassline and crackling percussion. The nostalgic vocal loop adds just the right amount of swagger, lending to a track that's as timeless as it is trailblazing—true to form for Lake.

A track built for peak-hour dancefloors, "Toxic" marks another stunning chapter in the house music virtuoso's ever-evolving sound while also spotlighting Ban’s knack for raw, percussive club music. With performances lined up at Coachella’s first-ever "Thursday Night Campgrounds" show on April 10th, plus festival slots at Breakaway and Escapade, the track is primed to become a staple of Lake's summer arsenal.
