I finally was able to work on part of that task I mentioned last episode, that has been eluding me for some time. I was able to craw up our new ladder, and start the much needed scrapping of the paint. I worked on the job for a few hours removing the old weathered pealing green paint. And just as I was finishing up the sky grew gray and dark, as if something ominous was happened. In The News:

On October 14, 1968 an earthquake caused minor damage at Durant, Oklahoma. Walls cracked, glass was broken, can goods fell from shelves, and a 5 foot tall advertising stand was reported to have fallen over.
