February 08, 2009Blog Oklahoma Podcast Video 1: Baby(the cat) in 12 SecondsA very short video using 12seconds.tv. At 12seconds.tv you can post very short 12 second videos. Last night I downloaded their iPhone app and created this 12 second slide show video of my cat, Baby(the cat). Currently you cannot record video with your iPhone, thus the slide show. Here's some information from 12seconds.tv's FAQ:What is 12seconds? 12seconds is the best place online for video status updates. It's a super easy way to share what you're doing with your friends and family using short video clips. You can use your web cam or mobile phone. Show your friends where you are, share your thoughts, or tell them how you're doing. We are building a video status platform that will help you keep up to date with your friends 12 seconds at a time. Why only 12 seconds? Because anything longer is boring. The scientists here at the 12seconds dodecaplex have conducted countless hours of research to determine the precise amount of time it takes for boredom or apathy to set in during typical Internet video viewing. Our patent pending Electro-Tear-Duct Prongers have determined that exactly 12 seconds of video is the ideal amount of time to keep anything interesting. January 11, 2009Blog Oklahoma Podcast 15: One Task Down, More to GoSo how many new years resolutions have you broken already? I can honestly say I've broken none. The reason? I didn't make any this year. There were times past when I make resolutions to lose weight, to exercise more, to even blog more, but most of these are something I should be doing anyway. So why make a new years resolution over it. No this year I'm doing something different. I'm not going to make any fleeting new years resolutions, I'm going to set some specific goals this year. And to prove this to myself mostly, I've added them to my "Remember The Milk" task list. So now I have to do them, their in my task list.
