I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to Italian travel blogger, Diana Bancale. Diana and I discussed her initial love for travel and how it all started for her in the travel blogging world.

We discussed Diana's education and when she moved to Miami to learn English. When she returned to Italy, we spoke about how working in an office environment was the catalyst for her decision to pursue her passion for travel.

Having studied journalism in school, Diana had an eye for writing. Hence when 2013 came about, she was well-equipped to make a travel blogging career.

I discussed with Diana what it takes to start a blog, keep your head above water, and evolve as time goes by. 2020 was a particular time in the blogging world when she had to change her ways of doing business.

We also spoke about some of her memorable travel experiences and what it's really like to backpack as a solo female traveller. Diana shares the story of her time in Vietnam. This is something that she has written about in her blogs over the last year.

I also asked why Diana wanted to write a blog specifically for females and why it is essential to get a female perspective on solo travelling.

We also spoke about what she likes to get up to away from her work.

I enjoyed my talk with Diana; she is a wonderful individual. I look forward to seeing what Diana gets up to in the future.
