For episode three of the agreed upon name of NogCember we're treated to a brand new John Woo action film, Silent Night. That's right it's a Christmas themed action flick helmed by Woo that puts a strong emphasis on the "silent" in the title.

Before we can talk Silent Night there were a few trailers that caught our attention. First on deck is the trailer for the outer space thriller ISS. Then there's a new Alex Garland film that's the talk of the town that people seem pretty split on, Civil War. For listeners hoping to witness Jesse fulfilling his obligation after losing the bet for Thankful For Action November, you'll have to look further because Jesse wasn't able to gummy up the strength for the Lil' Nitro this week. This week the Bloody Good Film is finishing up Thankful For Action Novermber with a Thanksgiving tradition...FOOTBALL!! 

We decide to tackle a double feature that includes an actualstar football player with a killer mullet and a Shane Black script revolving around a disgraced football player, sports betting, and some other stuff. A double feature so Action packed that we couldn't cover it alone. So we are joined by J.C. De Alba to get his very important opinion on these movies and also to talk about his newest band, Epicaricacy. 

J.C. holds the fire in his hands as these movies were picked anonymously by the hosts and he will decide who is the winner of the annual heat challenge. The loser of the bet will have to digest the "Lil Nitro" world's hottest gummy bear after next week's episode.

This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast snaps some bones and decides to cover action star Steven Seagal and his awkward martial arts. It's been a few years since the Bloody Good Film Podcast tackled a Bruce Lee film, but today we're finally getting back to him. Well half of us are. Jesse decided that instead of talking Bruce Lee he wanted to do a 24 hour marathon on the Tea Cup ride at Disneyland. So Josh decided to bring in the big guns to talk Fist of Fury, repeat guest Kenneth Leonard.

But this isn't only a Fist of Fury episode. In the 90s the remake Fist of Legend was released that had Jet Li trying to fill some pretty big shoes. Josh and Kenneth fill in all the nips and crannies that anyone could possibly be interested in with these two films.

First episode of 2020's Thankful For Action November and it's been over 100 episodes since the Bloody Good Film Podcast talked about a James Bond film. We'll we're breaking that streak with the Timothy Dalton lead License to Kill, the 2nd and last film of Dalton's era. But before we can get into that we have a few trailers to talk about.

I know that you all were expecting our License to Kill episode but we hit a few snags. It is recorded but the host in charge of the edit decided to go on an 6 day bender ingesting only tequila, Cool Whip, and Cheez It's for the duration. On the day of editing said host spent the whole day on the bathroom floor pondering his life choices, and ingesting Cheez Ums (as the name brand It's were beyond his price range at the rock bottom of this week.)

Luckily they had a backup recorded from several months back, and that's what you're getting now. This is our lists of the Top Ten Best Film Adaptions based on novels, short stories, or comics.

The License to Kill episode will either come later this week or we'll have a double episode week next week but we will not be cutting you all short on THANKFUL FOR ACTION NOVEMBER

The Bloody Good Film Podcast is dropping an episode on Halloween, so it was by podcast law that we drop an episode focusing on the John Carpenter classic that is responsible for the holiday itself, HALLOWEEN.  You think you've heard everything that everyone has had to say about this classic?... Well maybe you're right but you haven't heard it come out of the podcasting voice of Jesse, and the garbage disposal voice of Josh, which just gives you a jen a sei croix that other other podcasts are missing.
