In the second episode of Hot Dish Takes, co-hosts, Kristin Lytie (union organizer and comic), and Holly Krig (survivor advocate and organizer) interview Chez Rumpf, an organizer with Chicago based abolitionist collective Love & Protect, and the No New Prisons campaign. Topics range from criminalized survivors of gender-based violence, raccoons in the prison walls, to a brief discussion on whether there is more evidence for “trauma informed prisons” or Mothman. Spoiler: the answer is Mothman.

In this episode I'm joined by author, musician and all around fun time guy, Mishka Shubaly. We discussed Lake Mungo and how each of the family members dealt with the grief of the death of Alice after her drowning. I pitch Lake Mungo 2--more Mungoier! We also discussed all the weird things in the movie that were just subtly mentioned like: The neighbor is in Alice's room?? They drive backwards home from the lake??
