Story Transcript:

Sl: Matej stopi ven iz avtobusa in zadiha sveži pomladni zrak.
En: Matej steps off the bus and breathes in the fresh spring air.

Sl: Tivolski park je pred njim, zelen in poln možnosti.
En: Tivoli Park is in front of him, green and full of possibilities.

Sl: V bistvu ga je nekoliko strah.
En: In truth, he is a little scared.

Sl: To šolsko ekskurzijo je čakal, toda zdaj ni prepričan, če bo našel pogum, da spregovori z Anjo.
En: He had been looking forward to this school trip, but now he's not sure if he'll find the courage to talk to Anja.

Sl: Anja je vedno obdana s sošolkami, samozavestna in vesela.
En: Anja is always surrounded by her classmates, confident and cheerful.

Sl: Ob tem sončnem dopoldnevu v parku cvetijo prve cvetlice.
En: On this sunny morning in the park, the first flowers are blooming.

Sl: Matej opazuje mavrico barv, ki se razvijajo vse okrog njega.
En: Matej observes the rainbow of colors unfolding all around him.

Sl: Drevesa so začela brsteti, kar mu naravnost ogreje srce.
En: The trees have started to bud, which warms his heart.

Sl: Tudi on bi rad zacvetel v pogumu.
En: He too would like to bloom with courage.

Sl: Skupina učiteljev in učencev se premakne naprej.
En: The group of teachers and students moves forward.

Sl: Matej hodi ob strani, opazuje druge, a njegove misli so pri Anji.
En: Matej walks to the side, watching others, but his thoughts are with Anja.

Sl: Pravijo, da ima rada umetnost in zgodovino.
En: They say she likes art and history.

Sl: Matej se spomni velikega zgodovinskega kipa v zahodnem delu parka.
En: Matej recalls the large historical statue in the western part of the park.

Sl: Morda bi lahko to bil začetek pogovora.
En: Maybe that could be the start of a conversation.

Sl: Ko pridejo do kipa, opazi, da se Anja zaustavi in ga pregleduje.
En: When they reach the statue, he notices that Anja stops and examines it.

Sl: Srce mu močno bije.

Sl: Zbere pogum in pristopi bližje.
En: He gathers the courage and steps closer.

Sl: "Ali veš, kdo je to?
En: "Do you know who this is?"

Sl: " vpraša tiho.
En: he asks quietly.

Sl: Anja se obrne k njemu in se nasmehne.
En: Anja turns to him and smiles.

Sl: "Ne še, ampak bi rada izvedela.
En: "Not yet, but I'd like to find out."

Sl: "Matej pojasni zgodbo o kipu, kar ve, in se medtem počuti bolj samozavestno.
En: Matej explains the story of the statue, what he knows, and in doing so, he feels more confident.

Sl: Govorjenje o zgodovini, ki ga zanima, olajša stik.
En: Talking about history, which interests him, eases the connection.

Sl: Anja ga pozorno posluša in dodaja svoja razmišljanja.
En: Anja listens attentively and adds her own thoughts.

Sl: Počutijo se, kot bi se poznala že dolgo.
En: They feel as if they have known each other for a long time.

Sl: Ko se začne dan nagibati k koncu, Matej in Anja nadaljujeta pogovor, ko se vračata k avtobusu.
En: As the day begins to draw to a close, Matej and Anja continue their conversation as they head back to the bus.

Sl: Izmenjujeta kontaktne informacije in se dogovorita, da bosta kdaj skupaj raziskovala še več parkov v Ljubljani.
En: They exchange contact information and agree to explore more parks in Ljubljana together sometime.

Sl: Matej je vesel in ponosen.
En: Matej is happy and proud.

Sl: Prehodil je majhen, a pomemben korak.
En: He has taken a small but significant step.

Sl: Zavedel se je, da njegovi interesi niso njegovi sovražniki, ampak most do novih prijateljstev.
En: He's realized that his interests are not his enemies, but a bridge to new friendships.

Sl: Njegovo samozavest je začela brsteti skupaj s prvimi pomladnimi cvetovi v Tivolskem parku.
