We all know that, to stay fit and healthy, we have to be very careful about what we eat and drink.
The same principle applies to our emotional, psychological and spiritual health - what we consume makes a huge difference to our well-being.
We are being deluged with bad news, macabre projections and scare-mongering from the media at the moment and, unless we are very careful about what we allow into our minds and spirits, we are in grave danger of sliding into fear and depression.
The positive alternative is to deliberately fill our eyes and ears with those things that are pure, true, noble, praiseworthy and excellent. This will give us hope and build our faith.
