We loved chatting about his growing list of "once in a lifetime experiences" that all started by getting drunk in Vegas with his friends.

As a woman of her word, April straps on the pads to try her hand as a goalie in preparation for the upcoming BLT Outdoor Classic in Lake Louise. Hitting the ODR with Nick and Dani proved to be somewhat eye-opening. Our Crease Keeper buddy Brian is back with a new rant and Jay is pumping out his chump-tactic opinions as the looming trade deadline fuels lots of NHL moves.

Nick celebrates his birthday doing what he loves, podcasting! Oh, also spending time with his family or something… He is gifted with another raging goalie segment from our favourite crease keepers, and the Two-Pump Chump Jay is back with big predictions about the cup and, spoiler alert: Iginla is the key. Plus, some chatter on the aftermath of the USA victory over Canada in the women’s Olympic final, and the crew throws a curveball with a positive segment about great sportsmanship.

Lots of things to get the blood boiling on this episode, including hearing about a garbage GM who stole from his own team. Then we see our goalie friends get fired up on their new segment, Tales from the Creasekeepers. We couldn’t contain our excitement as a few more segments made their debut, including something for our fantasy hockey players, and some hard-hitting opinions from BLT’s Jay in his bit: Two Pump Chump.

Super Bowl fanfare in Philly had our hosts asking the question - is there anything you’re so passionate about that you’d eat poop? You might be able to guess what it is for Nick. Plus, fanfare is heating up for the BLT Classic as it grows closer and is officially SOLD OUT! Now one of the BLT crew may make their goaltending debut in Lake Louise. Hopefully they start stretching now. Lots of talk of new, better ideas for the show - send us your segment pitch!

Happy New Year from BLT! We’re back for 2018 and ready to jump into the second half of the season with exuberance, effervescence, and many more words we don’t understand. The crew made a few resolutions they’re more than likely to break. More importantly, they couldn’t be more excited for the first appearance of the Beer League Talk team, later this month in Kalispell, Montana.
