The origin story of Blue Blue Collar — me and my dad, Mike, a 72-year-old North Jersey electrician, talking job-site stories, off-color jokes, and hard-earned wisdom from decades in the trades. We’re winging it. No script, no rules. Just a father and son breaking the seal on Blue Blue Collar.

Why the name? It’s a mash-up of “blue collar” (working-class) and “blue humor” (a little inappropriate, always funny). My dad’s been making people laugh on job sites forever, and this first episode sets the stage: why humor’s survival when work gets brutal, and how stories of electrocutions, fireballs in the face, and freezing rooftops shaped his career.
