There was good, bad, and ugly for our first game of the season. Things like this happen all the time to teams. South Carolina lost their first game, Arizona State struggled against Idaho State, new teams struggle in their with each other.
Isaiah Rivera was the bright spot in the scoring department in our first game. He finished with 25 points, 10/17 from the field, and 5/9 from three. He started off hot from the field. Which gave DePaul momentum to start off.
Jacob Meyer stepped up in a big way by giving us 23 points, shooting 8/14 from the field, 4/9 from three.
As a team we have to work on interior offense, interior defense, perimeter defense, and free throw shooting. We're going up a very good offensive team. So, it will be interesting to see how we can slow them down.
