He is a military veteran, coffee connnessiuer, mental health advocate and all around great guy. He also co-hosts a podcast called Infinite Grit, which is targeted at those who are wanting to join the miltary and get in better shape and start forging that grit in themselves to finish what you start. We talk about our own trials and tribulations and what grit means in this day and age along with moving forward past your own mistakes.

On this episode, I sit down and talk with Division Chief Ashley Losch with the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, aka AFMA. On this episode, I sit down with Deputy Frank Sloup with the Pinal County Sheriff's office.  He is the star and YouTube sensation of "Friday's with Frank".  Frank is a 21 year veteran of law enforcement and specializes in traffic enforcement, apprehending impaired drivers, and is also on the regional Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT)  Team as a Sniper.  We talk about everything from  impaired driving, cannabis use, the militarization of law enforcement and its many misconceptions, general law enforcement topic, and show the humanity of law enforcement. Det. Matt Thornton is a police officer with the Zion Police Department in the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois.  Matt has an incredible story of redemption and salvation as a police officer and becoming a pillar in his community.  Matt has been on a mission to talk about mental health issues, calling out the bad cops out there as well as lifting up those who are doing a great job for both the job and the community.    This conversation started as a meet and greet but ended up getting deep quickly. He is an author, a mental health advocate and setting the standard for policing.
